Kindergarten - Grade 2
Laurie James was born in Bonners Ferry, ID and grew up in the Pacific Northwest. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education from Southwestern Adventist University in Keene, TX. Her area of concentration is in History. She holds a Standard Teaching Certificate with endorsements in Elementary Grades, Junior Academy: History and Religion, and is working toward a certification in Reading. She has taught since 1999, and has been with us since 2001. She enjoys sewing, reading, baking, & hiking. She is married (Darrin) and has three daughters and a son-in-law. She teaches Kindergarten through Second Grade.
